COSTUME FOR SF Carnaval Samba do Mar Costumes: Men: White pants Shirt (see pattern): Silver, light blue, light green or yellow Use square (or rectangle) of fabric down to mid-thigh when folded; Cut hole for head in top fold Sew seams half way up; leave arm holes Women: Full cotton Bahiana skirts (white, light blue, light green or yellow) Top: (see pattern) Colors: If you use a white skirt, use a different color (light blue, light green, yellow or silver) top; if you use a colored skirt use a white top. Use a circle of fabric; fold in half; should fall somewhere near your waist when folded; cut head hole in top fold; sew seams as shown on pattern; leave arm holes. You can wear a tank top underneath!!
